Whole exome sequencing of tumors from Brca1/Palb2/Brca2 and Trp53 model mice

UID: 10634

Publisher(s): Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Description
Description from BioProject: "In this study, we ablated, individually and in combination, Brca1, Brca2 and Palb2 along with one copy of Trp53 in the mouse mammary gland. We also studied spontaneous tumor development in Palb2 mutant mice with a mutation that disengages the BRCA1-PALB2 interaction, in Trp53 wt, heterozygous and homozygous null backgrounds. Whole exome sequencing was conducted for 35 mammary tumors and 36 other tumors in order to understand the genetic mechanisms of the cancer development."
