DNA damage-induced transcriptome changes in budding yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Candida glabrata
UID: 10810
- Description
- Summary from the GEO: "This study compared the transcriptional response to DNA damage in two closely related yeasts, S. cerevisiae and C. glabrata."
Overall design from the GEO: "We cultured S. cerevisiae and C. glabrata in YPD containing 0.1% methyl methanesulfonate (MMS) for 1 hour, harvested the cells, isolated total RNA using the Qiagen Rneasy kit, and sent the RNA to Genewiz for RNAseq. Untreated cells were used as controls. 3 biological replicates for every condition were collected, except the S. cerevisiae no MMS condition, which had 2 biological replicates."
